For four days, the Kukuun Club on the Spielbudenplatz – the square right at the heart of Hamburg’s Reeperbahn, where the Reeperbahn Festival is held – becomes the House of Canada. From 20 – 23 September 2017, no fewer than 40 Canadian acts present themselves to the European music market there. TRACKS joins them and streams the highlights on Facebook. And these highlights are really something: the entire range of Canada’s music scene is represented here, from Grand Analog’s dub hip-hop, through high-energy blues rock by SATE, to francophone pop by La Bronze and stony indie rock by Taylor Knox.
