Once a year, at the Sziget Festival, the “Island of Freedom” on the river Danube becomes a multicultural melting pot for music, art and theatre. At this festival, everything is just a little bit bigger, going that little bit further and higher. In figures: one week, more than 50 stages, about 200 items on the programme, over 1000 artists and getting on for 500,000 visitors.
