Gerd Bischoff

Having completed his studies in the promising field of dietetics, Gerd started working as a DJ and specialist sales assistant for sound recording media in the 1980s. His speciality: black music imports. This was followed by 10 years on the radio: 100% freepick/strictly black. The father of a son worked in his home town for the radio stations Radio 107, Jazz Welle Plus and OK Radio. He then switched to television as a journalist/music programmer/VJ and as of 1994 worked for the likes of VH-1, MTV and Tele5. Gerd was responsible for developing the formats MTV FETT and MTV URBAN. At the same time, he was active as a writer for print/online media. At SMP he is now in charge of formats that represent good-grooving vibes.
